GA Mountain Run - September 28, 2019
« on: June 15, 2019, 10:25:16 pm »
We’ll begin at Sugarloaf Mtn Park, Ocoee,TN. Drivers meeting at 8:20am, wheels rolling 8:30 am. There are bathrooms here, and plenty of parking for an organized start to our day.  With four stops, there are several places where you can leave the group and return home. Or, if you’re a diehard, hang in there and do the whole route!  Look for an information pack in your email early next week.  It will include detail instructions to Sugarloaf, maps, and more.

We think we’ve got a real winner with the GA Mountain Run.  This is an all day drive with three very nice stops.  It starts in Ocoee, TN, drops down to Suches, GA, then stops at Vogel State Park for a picnic lunch.  Then to GA’s highest peak for some fabulous views. After that, more twisties, as we work our way around and over Blood Mountain.  After that, a 1 hour stop in Blue Ridge, GA for a walk down their pedestrian oriented, retail rich Main St.  Then to Ellijay to travel over Fort Mountain ( more good roads).  That places us in Chatsworth, GA where we’ll say goodbye and everyone heads home.  You don’t want to miss this run!  A Driver Info Pack will be distributed on Monday Sept 24.
